most of us are familiar with the rules by now, but just in case this is baby's first game... what happens in character, stays in character. same goes for out of character. if you have a disagreement with another player, please try to sort it out between the two of you first. if the issue can't or hasn't been resolved, your next stop should be the mods via dropbox. we will not tolerate bullying, in any shape or form. while ic drama is encouraged, we do suggest discussing it ooc first, as a courtesy, and to keep ill feelings where they belong - ic. a community can only flourish if it houses active, friendly, and engaging players. even though it's easy to get comfortable once you've got a handful of steady lines, players will still be expected to be welcoming to everyone that comes along thereafter! gentle reminder: there will be knowledge gaps about korea and korean culture. let's not nitpick, this hobby is meant to be fun. oh, and no god modding.
applyingso you're thinking about joining us? first and foremost, you will need an ic journal! please don't use numbers or underscores when choosing a journal name. what examples do we ask for? one of two things: 1) an in depth character bio; or, 2) a narrative of an important event/moment in your character's life. or both, if you want to be thorough! these can be linked via ooc or ic journal, just make sure you remember to make them visible to our mods. in a backdated entry, please give us the basic profile of your character (name, age/dob, occupation, where they were born, etc.) and some quick facts - this will also serve as an ooc contact post with other players and the mods. removed from the community? you have the opportunity to reapply with the same character and be reaccepted once. afterwards, you will need to apply with a new pb/character in order to be fair to other players who might want to use the same pb. want to pick up a second or third pb? cool! you do not need to re-submit your examples, but please include other characters played. four or more? sorry, but in an attempt to keep our characters active and engaging, we will draw the limit at three characters per player. on that note, if you play a pb from an idol group, any additional characters you pick up cannot be from the same group. if your application was deleted, it was rejected. not sure why? feel free to (politely) ask why in the dropbox.
we only accept pb's from east asia, given the setting. if you're unsure if your pb fits into this category, our dropbox is open! your character should have the same ethnicity of the pb you use (if the pb is korean, your character cannot be chinese), and their age should stay within the five year range of the actual pb.
activityAt the end of every month the mods will post an ooc entry for players to comment with their character's activity for consideration. What counts as activity? One of the following: - a narrative,
- a completed scene,
- a comment thread with 50 replies (at least 25 of which from your character),
- a journal post that generates activity on the feed,
- participation in monthly game wide activites (specifics for what will qualify will be included in the post for said activity).
